Nate Cocco

Bob is an all star for our team. He started with #TeamCocco in 2016. Bob has an extensive background when it comes to insurance and plenty of experience. Bob also, spent 6 years as a marketing director for a commercial insurer and prior to that, Bob also spent 20 years in the financial service industry. Originally from western Pennsylvania, Bob is a proud Nittany Lion Alumni where he received his Bachelors degree in science.

In his free time when he isn’t helping customers with his incredible insurance knowledge and skills, Bob also plays trumpet in a 250 piece marching band called, “The Second Time Arounders”, and “The Gulfport Geckos.”

On paper Marya has been with us since October of 2021 but has really been with #TeamCocco by proxy since 2015. She holds a 2-20 license and is a true professional when it comes to providing her customers knowledge on our products thanks to her experience.

From start to finish Marya makes sure you reach your goals while putting a smile on your face every step of the way with her awesome personality. She is very artsy and loves to draw and paint in her free time. She also enjoys listening to music and going to concerts. Not only does Marya enjoy listening to music but, she creates it as well by playing piano.

Marya also loves her dachshund puppy Rocco and stands by the fact that, “there is nothing a good cup of wine and cheese can't solve.” A fan of real crime, Marya also likes reading books and watching documentaries. She is extremely motivated and will always go above and beyond to ensure her customers meet their needs.

Nikki is a veteran agent here at #TeamCocco. She has knowledge in a plethora of fields including insurance and financial services. Nikki is also licensed in auto, home, renters, life and health insurance.

A fun fact about her is that she used to be in a rock band! Nikki brings that same fun, energetic energy and experience to Team Cocco and utilizes it to motivate and drive our team!

Originally from the New York/New Jersey area, Gerry has been with Team Cocco since November, 2022 where he has quickly become a staple to #TeamCocco’s success.

Before joining Team Cocco, Gerry worked in hospitality and insurance in and around the St. Pete Beach/Clearwater area. Prior to moving to Florida in 2018, Gerry worked up north in finance and holds a masters degree in education from New York University. He then went on to teach history and coached both baseball and softball and eventually started to work as a school counselor.

Away from the office, Gerry enjoys outdoor activities such as golf, exercise and indulging in the warmth of a nice cabernet complimented by a beautiful Florida sunset.

Mike Weiss has been a valued member of #teamcocco since February 5th, 2023. He brings a diverse background and a wealth of experience to our team.

Mike studied Sport and Fitness Leadership at Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee where he earned his bachelor's degree from 2013 to 2017. His professional journey includes working as a personal trainer at Planet Fitness, handling merchandising and selling at HT Hockney, and gaining experience in life insurance from 2023 to 2024.

A fun fact about Mike: he went skydiving with his wife the day before their wedding! His adventurous spirit and commitment to helping others make him a great asset to our team.

Hunter Smith has been an invaluable member of #teamcocco since December 2023. In her short time with us, she has quickly embraced the insurance world, crediting Nate with teaching her an immense amount in just a few months.

Hunter transitioned to the insurance industry after a successful career in the property loan industry, where she specialized in title insurance and state/country requirements for recording public documents. Her educational background includes a communications degree in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology, which has fueled her passion for working with the public.

Hunter is dedicated to communication theory, interpersonal communication, and building meaningful, long-term relationships with customers, coworkers, and friends. Her enthusiasm for fostering connections is evident in her daily interactions and commitment to our customers.

Outside of work, Hunter has a vibrant interest in fantasy. She is a fan of all things magical, from fairies to renaissance fairs. Her favorite series is the "Throne of Glass" and "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas. On a good day, you might find her at a renaissance fair with her elf ears, and on a regular day, she enjoys curling up with a good book, battling dragons in her imagination.

While Hunter might not be able to protect you from dragons, she is more than capable of ensuring your car and home are well-protected.

Drew has been with #TeamCocco for two years now. In 2021 Drew worked in the insurance industry selling health Insurance.

From Pennsylvania, Drew has lived in Florida for the last five years. Upon transferring from Neumann University in Aston, PA, Drew attended the University of Tampa studying Business Marketing.

In his free time Drew loves being active and staying healthy. A fan of all sports, Drew enjoys playing ice hockey, golf and going to the beach!

Deva joined #teamcocco in October 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience with State Farm, on and off. She excels in customer interactions, ensuring they thoroughly understand their coverage needs and what their home or auto policy entails in various scenarios. Deva is licensed in products such auto, fire, and health insurance, with a particular niche in helping current customers determine their policy needs.

A bit about Deva's background: she has planted roots in New Orleans after many travel adventures and is a passionate Saints and LSU fan. Deva enjoys a good crawfish boil and gatherings with friends. She made Florida her home just over a year ago, after many summer visits, and spends her free weekends at Indian Rocks Beach, making a point to catch every sunset possible.

Deva has two fur babies that are spoiled to death: a German Shepherd and a Calico cat. Although they are not friends, her dog certainly tries!

Colin joined Team Cocco on March 18th, 2024, bringing with him over 20 years of selling experience. He began his career in life insurance in 2022 and quickly found his passion in helping customers secure their opportunities. Nate offered him the opportunity to join State Farm, and Colin couldn't wait to embark on this exciting new journey.

Colin is an Auburn University alumnus with a degree in criminal justice. Before transitioning to selling, he worked as a policy fraudulence specialist, honing skills that now benefit his customers.

Outside of work, Colin is a proud father to his amazing 5-year-old daughter, who is the light of his life. A fun fact about Colin: he rode bulls in high school and is a huge fan of F1 racing!
